Build your dream eMTB with the 2020 Specialized Turbo Levo frameset
Specialized releases Turbo Levo frameset for 2020
New to the 2020 Specialized Turbo Levo collection is a new frameset only option giving Turbo Levo fans the chance to build up their own dream eMTBs.
Specialized has added a new option to the 2020 Turbo Levo range, but it isn’t the new 2020 Kenveo, nor is it even a complete bike. 2020 is the first model year that Specialized is offering a frameset only version of the popular Turbo Levo.
In the past. Specialized and other bike makers, would only sell their eBikes complete, but for 2020 we are seeing a couple of brands moving into the frameset market with packages that allow riders to build their own dream eMTB.
The 2020 Specialized Tubo Levo frameset is the same 150mm travel, full-carbon, asymmetric frameset you get on a complete bike, but you’ll need to add your own forks, wheels, drivetrain, brakes, bar, stem, and other components.
Included with the frame package are carbon frames, a 700Wh battery, Fox Float DPS Factory Kashima shock, 32t chainring, and chainset. The frameset also comes Brose / Specialized 2.1 Custom Rx trail-tuned 250W motor, and the wiring harness to get everything running.
Specialized will sell you a Turbo Levo frameset in small, medium, large or XL, but it will cost you €5,999.00.
If you think that almost €6000 is expensive, then you are correct. For only slightly more the 2020 Turbo Levo Comp with an alloy frame comes as a complete bike with the same Brose motor and 700Wh battery. Still, if you do want to build your own dream Levo then you finally have the opportunity.
