Update! 2020 Specialized Turbo Levo Range Full Specifications!

Specialized updates the entire Turbo Levo range for 2020

We’ve seen all the 2020 Specialized Turbo Levo rumors and leaks, but here are the official specifications for the 2020 Levo ebikes.

Updated with the details of the 2020 Turbo Levo S-Works

For months now, Specialized Levo Turbo fans have been looking for news on the 2020 updates of their favorite ebikes. In that time we have had rumors, and we have even seen the 2020 Levos on sale in Chile, but today we finally have firm specifications of each model.

Below we have specs, UK pricing and links to where you can buy a 2020 Turbo Levo, but what we still don’t have is solid information on the 2020 Turbo Kenevo.

2020 Specialized Turbo Levo S-Works

2020 Turbo Levo S-Works

With a full carbon bomber of a frame, Fox Factory providing 150mm of smooth, supple suspension and an incredibly powerful, efficient motor,  the top tier Levo does not disappoint.

The 2020 S-Works frame is entirely carbon, so it doesn’t get much lighter than this. But that doesn’t mean it sacrafices on stiffness. The asymmetric sidearm design enchances the stiffness of the frame, so you’ve still got the edge on the climbs. The Levo features a low bottom bracket, short chainstays, a slackened head tube angle and a longer top tube. The result? An incredibly confidence inspiring ride. Thanks to the slackened head angle you can crush the descents, with a steapened seat angle to increase climbing efficiency. The lower bottom bracket and motor make for a lower centre of gravity that increase stability, whilst the shorter chainstays increase manoeuvrability. The Levo was made to shred.

The frame fully integrates the new 2.1 magnesium cased motor, which is 15% smaller than its predecessor. The motor is coupled with a new battery design which is fully encased within the downtube of the bike, which not only makes this bike look better than ever but also protects it from the elements. The battery itself has a massive 700Wh capacity, so you can go all weekend. The whole system is controlled from specialized’s TCU which is mounted to the top-tube of the bike, giving a clear indication of your power mode, as well as remaining battery life. As per last year’s model, the 2020 bike features Specialized’s Trail handlebar remote, which allows you to switch between the different assistance modes quickly, as well as providing a handy walk-assist function. The Turbo Levo now features 5 different modes, Eco, Trail, Turbo, as well as two further modes which are accessed directly from the Mission Control app, Stealth and Shuttle. Shuttle mode is ideal for those uplift days, boosting the motor’s peak power to 100%, allowing you to get up those fire roads with as little effort as possible. Stealth mode conveniently turns off the lights on the TCU for a few night laps of the trail.

The top tier Levo deservedly gets a top tier spec to boot. This starts with the SRAM XX1 Eagle drivetrain. The XX1 is SRAM’s highest spec eagle groupset, providing you with incredibly smooth and effortless shifting as well as 12 speeds to get you over anything. The FOX Float DPS Factory rear shock provides 150mm of rear suspension with a slick, Kashima coasted stanchion as well as a 3-position dammping adjuster. The front of the S-Works features equally impressive suspension, courtesy of the FOX 36 Factory eBike fork.  Featuring the Grip2 Damper with high and low speed damping, the FOX 36 Factory will keep you firmly in control. Round off the spec with SRAM Code RSC 4 piston hydraulic disc brakes that will let you stop on a dime in all conditions, and you’ve got one of the best machines on the market.

2020 Specialized Turbo Levo Expert

With the new carbon front triangle shedding some serious weight and the FOX 36 fork and DPS shock providing killer technical ability, the 2020 Turbo Levo Expert isn’t messing around-oh, and that’s not to mention the massive 700Wh battery.

Thanks to the new carbon front triangle, the 2020 Levo Expert is the lightest ever. It features an M5 premium alloy rear end that remains lightweight, whilst keeping cost down. It also has the added benefit of creating a stiffer and more responsive ride than a carbon rear end. The Levo also features a low bottom bracket, short chainstays and a longer top tube. The result? An incredibly confident ride. The lower bottom bracket and motor make for a lower centre of gravity that increase stability, whilst the shorter chainstays increase manoeuvrability. The Levo was made to shred.

Stealth mode conveniently turns off the lights on the TCU for a few night laps of the trail.

The FOX Float DPS Performance rear shock and FOX 36 performance fork provides flex free handling and stiction free performance, so you can truly attack the trail.  The SRAM X1 drivetrain also provides 11 speeds to conquer anything put in your path, whilst also offering the simple and reliable operation of a 1x system.  Throw some SRAM Code R 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes into the mix and you’ve got an awesome MTB machine.

2020 Specialized Levo Turbo comp

Now with a 700wh Battery, the 2020 Specialized Turbo Levo FSR Comp takes trail riding to the next level, with a powerful motor taking the pain out of the steepest of climbs, whilst still feeling like a normal bike on descents, the Comp level keeps begging you to ride harder and faster.
With an asymmetrical frame design, the 2020 Turbo Levo FSR Comp is lighter than ever. The frame fully integrates the new 2.1 magnesium cased motor, which is 15% smaller than its predecessor. The motor is coupled with a new battery design which is fully encased within the downtube of the bike, which not only makes this bike look better than ever but also protects it from the elements. Shuttle mode is ideal for those uplift days, boosting the motor’s peak power to 100%, allowing you to get up those fire roads with as little effort as possible. Stealth mode conveniently turns off the lights on the TCU for a few night laps of the trail.
This Comp’s new Specialized M2-series battery features a 700Wh capacity, which increases your range by a staggering 40%

Rockshox take care of the suspension on the Comp spec level, with a Revelation Lyrik Select RC up front and a Deluxe Select+ at the rear, both of which provide 150mm of travel to tackle even the most aggressive of trails.

Stopping power comes courtesy of SRAM’s Guide RE. With 4 piston callipers front and rear and 200mm discs, you can be sure that the Levo will slow you down on the steepest of descents.

The Comp keeps its 11-speed SRAM GX drivetrain, giving you reliable shifting, complete with 1 click shifter and e-bike specific KMC chain.

The Comp spec is finished with an X-Fusion Manic dropper seatpost with up to 170mm of travel on the larger frame sizes.

2020 Turbo Levo 29 Red

Even the base spec Levo gets big upgrades for 2020 with this model now coming with a dropper post and a Rockshox 35 Fork. Specialized have improved on the benchmark for electric bikes at a budget!
The 2020 Tubo Levo FSR features an asymmetrical frame design constructed in M5 aluminium with an all-new 29 trail geometry providing just the right amount of playfulness on the trail. With the frame design comes the magnesium cased 2.1 motor which is 15% smaller and 400g lighter than previous models. The motor remains the same right through to the S-Works model, so you know you are getting the most power for your money with the entry-level FSR. The motor is coupled with a 500Wh battery, giving most people enough range for a full days riding, at an affordable price. The battery is also fully enclosed within the frame, which helps to reduce the weight of the frame, as well as protect the battery from the elements. Specialized have made it nice and easy switching between the different assistance modes with the included trail-remote mounted on the handlebars, which also includes a handy walk-assist. Three different assistance modes are selectable straight from the remote (Eco, Trail and Turbo), with the added function of turning the assistance off completely when descending. Two brand new modes, shuttle and stealth, are also selectable via the Mission Control app. Shuttle mode boosts the bikes power straight to 100%, giving you a super-easy uplift, and Stealth turns off all the lights displayed on the top-tube mounted display, ideal for night riding!

The entry-level FSR model comes with a capable spec list that doesn’t break the bank. With a Rockshox 35 fork and Deluxe Select shock, providing 150mm of front and rear travel, giving you the confidence to push your limits further and further. SRAM Level T hydraulic disc brakes with 200mm rotors provide ample stopping power for the rowdiest of descents. The Sram 11-speed drivetrain complete with e-bike specific KMC chain gives you reliable shifting with the peace of mind that your chain has been built with the high-torque figures of this eMTB in mind!

Specialized continue to use 29×2.6″ wheels and tyres for 2020 following rider feedback, giving you fast-rolling speeds, as well as super control from the Butcher tyres, giving you a perfect trail combination.
